Tiny Steps Child Care is a registered family child care home at 12702 Bluhill Road, Silver Spring. We are not a large center. We are a bilingual home that shares a table, a yard, and quiet.

Why this house exists.
We’re so happy to have you as part of our family. Our program is built on love, dedication, and respect — a warm space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every day.
As a licensed family childcare home in Maryland, we follow MSDE Office of Child Care standards. Provider and co-provider are certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. English and Spanish live in the day, not on a worksheet.
We believe families are a child’s first teachers. By working hand in hand with parents, we build a partnership that supports consistency, communication, and shared growth — one tiny step at a time.

Art, music, outdoor play, and hands-on learning. We go out morning and afternoon.
Families as partners
Conferences in fall and spring, open communication, and a handbook you can actually use.
The practical
Food, health, and the everyday.
- Meals we serve
- Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. Weekly menus are posted. Tell us about allergies in writing.
- Health
- Keep children home with a fever of 100°F or other contagious symptoms. We follow MSDE illness guidance.
- Hours
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Friday until 5:00 PM.
- Enrollment
- Packet, health inventory, immunizations, emergency contacts, and a one-week tuition deposit to hold the space.
